Six Rodney Kinsman 'OMKStak' Chairs
The OMKStak is considered an icon of the high tech era of British design
The OMKStak was designed by Rodney Kinsman in 1972. The design features a perfect combination of functionality, simplicity and precise form but what made it one of the most coveted designs of the era was its distinctive circular cut outs, steel construction and vibrant colour options. The design was a bold step away from traditional wooden furniture and instantly recognisable in any setting which made it a hit with trend setters of the day.
Today the OMKStak is regarded to be one of the icons of mid-century design. It is included in permanent collection of some of the worlds best museums including the Victoria & Albert, Design Museum London and Philadelphia Museum of Art.
