Eric Orr 'Supastar' Rug for Dilana

Eric Orr is an artist and designer from New York City. His work in subway stations helped define the emerging NYC street and hip-hop culture of the late 1970s. Over the years Orr developed many collaborative friendships with artists such as Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Michael Stewart along with close ties in New Zealand.
Eric's work is recognized internationally and held in private collections in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America. He has been featured in numerous exhibitions in art galleries on both coasts of the US and has given live painting exhibitions in North America and the Asia Pacific.
Dilana has been hand crafting New Zealand's most luxurious rugs for over 35 years. Since opening their Christchurch based Workshop in 1980, the company has successfully collaborated with many leading contemporary artists. The Dilana legacy can be seen in some of the most distinguished homes, commercial buildings, art galleries and museums throughout the world.
This rug has been hand tufted from the finest New Zealand wool at the Dilana workshop in Christchurch.
