Some of New Zealand's most premium mid-century modern furniture was designed and produced by Wellington based firm Backhouse. This beautiful offering is inspired by the 'FD503' coffee table, designed by Tove & Edvard Kindt Larsen.
Stripped of all unnecessary embellishment, this coffee table consists of a sculpted form crafted entirely from solid teak. Every line and curve has been considered and the result is stunning. It will stand out and add character to any modern interior.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
