Memorable Tony Parker 'Matchstick' Tripod Dining Suite
This dining suite is about organic curves and tripod forms. The backs and seats of the dining chairs curve to hug your body and the curvaceous round table ensures that no one will be left on the fringes of dinner time conversation. The sleek table is a beautiful offering with round table top in solid mahogany sits lightly on tapered legs, highlighting the luscious timber grain.
Parker furniture derived its sleek, organic forms from the values of Scandinavian mid-century furniture design. This design is a local interpretation of Hans Wegner's iconic 'Heart' chair of 1952. Despite a total void of straight lines this stunning dining suite completely adheres to the mid-century value of 'form follows function'.
