Rare Ces Renwick 'No. 6 - Bahama' Armchair and Ottoman by Airest
The super rare Ces Renwick ‘Bahama’ Armchair and Ottoman by Airest is an early Pan Pacific masterpiece and a high point for New Zealand mid-century design. It would have made a serious statement on it's release in the 1950s and still looks amazing today. Outswept legs lift a curvaceous, highly organic body, delivering a sculptural silhouette that reads beautifully from every angle.
A local nod to organic modernism, most notably American furniture designer Vladimir Kagan, this set pairs glamour with serious lounge appeal. It's a dangerously comfortable offering so proceed with caution – once you sit back and kick up those feet, you'll find it hard to leave.
