Iconic Ron Arad 'Tom Vac' Swivel Chairs by Vitra
The 'Tom Vac' chair is a sculptural modern classic by Ron Arad for Vitra. It was originally designed for Arad’s 'Totem' installation – a sculpture consisting of 70 stacking chairs commissioned by the magazine Domus and set up in the centre of Milan during the Salone del Mobile in 1997.
In 1999 Vitra released a commercial version of the chair which quickly became a best-seller. The Tom Vac has a generous tub seat featuring sweeping curves, a distinctive ribbed texture and signature cut-out that gives the form a light, architectural feel while remaining wonderfully comfortable.
This is the rarer swivel version, set on a sleek five-star base with castors, it’s perfect for studio desks, dining tables or meeting rooms.
NOTE: Price is per chair, we have 6 available.
