Description
Early in his career, high profile designer Tom Dixon was known for his use of industrial materials. These chairs are one of the designs to come out of a public seating project / installation in Trafalgar Square where he attempted to create the longest seat in the world with a 75m bench made from steel tubing and rubber bands as a comment on the lack of use of public spaces. This pair of chairs have an ultra slim appearance with a continuous, looping steel shape reminiscent of the rubber band material which is added to form a seat and back. This is a rare find in New Zealand. Price is for the pair.
