Designed by Arne Wahl Iversen and produced by Vinde Møbelfabrik, the Nr. 36 planter cabinet is a beautifully resolved example of Danish modern versatility. Combining three drawers, an open shelf and an integrated planter in one compact architectural form, it is rich in thoughtful detail, from the elegant brass spacers to the softly curved lower shelf.
Pieces such as this reflect the imaginative multifunctional approach that shaped Scandinavian interiors in the 1960s, where furniture was expected to be practical, graceful and adaptable. Finished in warm teak with finely balanced proportions, it is an uncommon and highly collectable piece.
