The 1950s heralded a new direction in contemporary furniture. Out was the heavy set dark stained furniture of previous eras, in was the clean lines and a lightness of form easily evident in this stunning set of locally produced bedside cabinets.
This vibrant blond oak offering is a celebration of the straight line. All superfluous decoration has been removed, even the drawer fronts have been cleverly designed to slant forward, removing the need for handles. It's a stunning set that still makes a statement today.
