Refined John Herbert 'Codan' Drawers for Younger Furniture
This rare piece is defined by an organic style and rich afromisia timber.
British furniture maker Younger crafted high end designs for discerning customers during the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Their products were made in low volume to the highest standard and aimed squarely at the premium end of the market. With talented in-house designer John Herbert pushing the boundaries of modern design, Younger was always at the forefront of the contemporary design scene.
This elegant chest of drawers is from the coveted 'Codan' range. The design is defined by a hyper-extended cabinet top and sophisticated curves that flow seamlessly down into tapered legs. The four drawers offer ample storage and the handles are smooth and organic. It's a beautiful piece that will stand out in any modern bedroom.
