It's been an unusual year for us all! Thank you to all the amazing customers and friends who have supported us throughout this year of lock downs and celebrated the arrival of our beautiful new daughter with us. In the lead up to a well deserved Christmas break for all of us, we're reflecting on the year past. Best Fitout
East Street Hall! Yet another amazing project by the team at Katie Lockhart Studio. We were stoked to see this come together so beautifully with our Tokyo Barstools (see imagery above).
Best Local Discovery
Ornament in Point Chevalier for super cool design objects and styling inspiration.
Best Design Find
I recently purchased some Poul Kjaerholm PK22 Armchairs. I’ve been a fan of Kjaerholm’s work for a long time but it doesn’t often come up in the vintage market.

Good Form Wishlist Item
I’m loving the Ercol colab with Norm Architects and can’t wait to see the Reprise Chair in person. There were a number of production setbacks due to covid but this stunning chair is finally on it’s way to New Zealand.

Best 2020 Decision
I'm being more conscious to support local, we are so unbelievably lucky to be in New Zealand and it's time for us to back the local produce makers, growers, owner operators, artisans. 2020 has been a great year to action this decision!
Best Food
My partner's paella. We celebrated his birthday this year in Level 4 and it was a day of continual grazing with family - I could list out what food was devoured but that does incur food envy at the best of times. But think paella for dinner, swallowed down with a beautiful Central Otago red and polished off with mulled wine and ginger poached pears for dessert. You get the picture!
Best Local Discovery
Scott Lawrie Gallery is the new haunt, and just upstairs from Good Form.

Good Form Wishlist Item
Oh dear… where does one begin? An Ercol Romana Dining Table, a Mr Olsen sofa from Warm Nordic, OMK Tokyo Barstools (thanks East Street Hall) - in earnest the list could go on. Could someone please notify Santa, ahem... my partner.

Best Design Find
My latest design purchase has been a Noguchi Rocking Stool, produced by Vitra. For now, this sits in the corner of my room, and I happily admire it from a distance.

Best Album
I recently picked up the new Gorillaz vinyl, Song Machine, and it has been on repeat since then. Such a range of genres and artists feature, so something for any mood.
Best Food
Ockhee on Ponsonby Road will be my go to this summer. Delicious Korean food and a great natural wine list, it is certainly hard to beat.
Good Form Wishlist Item
The top of my wishlist this year is the tall green Alvar Aalto Savoy Vase from Iittala. The organic form and soft green glass balance so well in any setting.
